Quick berry yoghurt

Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoons berries - try raspberries, blueberries, strawberries or blackberries (fresh, frozen, canned in own juices)
  • 4 pots of natural yoghurt
  • 8 tablespoons crunchy muesli

Method

This quick, nutritious breakfast is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C as well as an excellent source of calcium. Serves one- Suitable for vegetarians

  1. Mix everything together and eat immediately.
  2. You can add extra crunch and more minerals by adding some sunflower or sesame seeds.

Tips:

  • Calcium is needed for healthy bones and teeth. Kids and teens need lots of calcium to grow string, healthy bones and adults need calcium to help prevent problems like osteoporosis.
  • Dairy products also help to lower blood pressure and may even help to keep weight healthy, a true Superfood.
  • Do go for low fat yoghurt cheese and milk as high fat varieties are higher in saturated fat.
