Berry breakfast smoothie

Ingredients

  • 4 bananas
  • 800mls orange juice
  • 200g berries - frozen or fresh. Try raspberries, blueberries, blackcurrants, blackberries or strawberries.
  • Honey (optional)
  • 600mls low fat milk
  • 13 tablespoons oats

Method

Fruit is a rich source of vitamins and minerals not to mention that fact that it tastes great. Smoothies are a great way to eat more fruit. Serves one- Suitable for vegetarians

Method: Put everything in a blender and blend or put everything in a large jug and blend using a hand-held blender.

Tip: Experiment with different fruits and juices. You don't need a smoothie maker an ordinary food processor or hand-held blender will work just as well.
